This guide will take you through the process of mapping multiple cloned listings from a sales channel to a single product on Cloud Commerce Pro.

It is sometimes necessary to create multiple listings for a single item, also known as clones. For example, it may be a generic product that can be used with many things, but to make that clear in the space of a listing title would be impossible. Cloned listings allow you have the same item appear differently many times over.

Since all of these listings come from a single product, it is important to have them mapped correctly to Cloud Commerce Pro to ensure things like prices and stock levels remain consistent and to avoid over-selling.

1. Admin Centre

Click “Product Mapping” from the Admin Centre.

2. Product Mapping

Select the sales channel you want to use from the drop down menu.

3. Actions

Hover the mouse over the Actions tab for more options. Click “Show Import/Export” to continue.

4. Mapping Export

1. Click the “Mapping Export” button to export a list of all unmapped products for the sales channel you selected.

2. When the status of the export shows as complete you can click here to download the export as a spreadsheet. Save it to an easy to find location.

5. Unmapped Products Export

When you pen the exported spreadsheet it should look similar to the one above. Notice there is a blank column named “MapToSKU” which we will use to link our products to our listings.

Press CTRL+F to find the listings you want to map and copy them over to a new spreadsheet along with the column headers.

6. Mapping To SKU’s

Populate the “MapToSKU” column with the correct SKU’s to map each clone to a single product on Cloud Commerce Pro.

In the example above there are 8 separate listings, but they should all be mapped to two parents products on the system.

When you have finished inputting your SKU codes, save the spreadsheet with a recognisable filename.

7. Mapping Import

Return to Cloud Commerce Pro to the Auto Mapping screen you were on previously.

Click “Mapping Import” and navigate to the spreadsheet you just saved and click “Open”.

When the status shows as complete, the mapping has been successful.
